# Best Shopify Order Editing Apps: Orderify Costs $8.99

Seven order editing apps are worth a Shopify merchant's shortlist, and the right one depends on a single number — not your order volume, but your Shopify plan. **Orderify** charges by Shopify tier, so a store on the Shopify plan pays $8.99 a month for unlimited self-service edits no matter how many orders it processes. **OrderEditing.com** charges $99 for the same volume band and is worth it only if you want checkout upsell and address validation in the same app. **Revize** has the only free plan with real editing, at 20 edits a month. **Codify Order Cancel** is free and does cancellation only.

## Key takeaways

- [Orderify](https://apps.shopify.com/orderify) is the cheapest route to unlimited order editing for most stores: $4.99 on Shopify Basic, $8.99 on Shopify, $24.99 on Advanced, $99.99 on Plus. Volume is irrelevant.
- [OrderEditing.com](https://apps.shopify.com/order-editing) starts at $99 a month for 100 to 2,500 orders. Address validation is billed separately at $0.01 to $0.03 per order.
- [Revize](https://apps.shopify.com/revize)'s free plan carries 20 order edits a month including auto-cancel, instant refunds, variant and address changes, and the EU withdrawal button.
- [Codify Order Cancel](https://apps.shopify.com/codify-order-cancel) is free and cancellation-only, and carries the lowest rating in the group at 4.2 from 48 reviews.
- [AE: Order Editing](https://apps.shopify.com/account-editor) shows 260 reviews against 41 installs. Verify that listing yourself before you install it.
- Every app in this list carries the Built for Shopify badge.

## Why this is a buying decision at all

Shopify lets a merchant [edit an order from the admin](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/fulfillment/managing-orders/editing-orders) — change quantities, add or remove items, adjust shipping. What it does not provide is a customer-facing window to do the same thing. Every app here exists to add one.

The reason that window is worth paying for sits upstream, in checkout. [Baymard Institute's checkout usability research](https://baymard.com/research/checkout-usability) documents how address and contact fields produce errors at scale — autofill collisions, abbreviations, missing apartment numbers — and those errors do not surface until a parcel bounces. Baymard also maintains [the cart abandonment benchmark](https://baymard.com/lists/cart-abandonment-rate), an average of 70.22% drawn from 50 studies and last updated in September 2025, which is the reason nobody wants to add friction to checkout to catch the mistakes earlier. So the errors arrive after the order is placed, and they arrive as support tickets.

That reframes the comparison. You are not buying "order editing". You are buying a decision about which post-purchase changes a customer may make alone, for how long after checkout, and what that saves your support team. The apps differ on exactly those three things.

## How these apps compare

Every rating, review count and price below was read from each app's live Shopify App Store listing on 7 October 2026, and each app name links to its listing so you can check it in one click. Install counts are the number of live Shopify stores running the app on the same date.

| App | Installs | Rating / reviews | Entry price | Scope |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| OrderEditing.com | 2,559 | 5.0 / 338 | $99 | editing, upsell, address validation |
| Codify Order Cancel | 1,660 | 4.2 / 48 | free | cancel and reorder only |
| Orderify | 1,363 | 4.8 / 72 | $4.99 | edit and cancel |
| Relocate+ | 488 | 5.0 / 41 | free | one edit type free, all types paid |
| Revize | 471 | 5.0 / 126 | free | 20 edits free, then unlimited |
| Yagi Order Cancellable | 339 | 5.0 / 41 | $7 | cancel only |
| AE: Order Editing | 41 | 5.0 / 260 | $39 | editing, upsell, validation |

## 1. OrderEditing.com — the complete one, priced like a platform

**Best for:** stores above 500 orders a month consolidating three jobs into one bill — self-service editing, checkout upsell and address validation. If you were going to buy a separate upsell app anyway, the $99 is competing with $99 plus $100, and that is the only arithmetic where it wins outright.

**Not ideal for:** stores doing fewer than 100 orders a month. The cheapest published band starts at 100, so there is no entry plan below it. Also a poor fit if you only want editing — you would be paying for upsell and validation you will not switch on.

![OrderEditing.com listing on the Shopify App Store](https://cdn-web.joy.so/cdn/image/2026/10/listing-order-editing-2026-10-07-8e5c16.png)

_OrderEditing.com, 7 October 2026: 5.0 from 338 reviews, and a cheapest band that starts at $99 for 100 orders._

2,559 installs, 5.0 stars from 338 reviews, live since May 2023.

**What it actually does**

- [OrderEditing.com](https://apps.shopify.com/order-editing) gives unlimited self-service order editing with every feature on every plan — the tiers differ only by order band and support level, which is unusually honest tiering.
- One-click upsell and checkout upsell, positioned on the listing as replacing separate $100 to $150 a month apps.
- Address validation with per-order pricing, and confirmation emails automatically resent after an edit. The resent confirmation is a small thing that prevents a large thing: a customer who edits and never sees a new confirmation opens a ticket.
- Access to every integration on every tier, with Slack support direct to the founders from the $199 band.

**What to check before you commit**

Bands are 100–2,500 orders at $99, 2,500–5,000 at $199 and 5,000–10,000 at $399. Address validation is optional and metered on top: $0.01 per order in the US, $0.03 in the UK and New Zealand, $0.015 in Australia. A UK store doing 3,000 orders with validation on pays $199 plus $90 — $289 a month.

Decide about the upsell before you price it. If you will not run checkout upsell, you are comparing $99 against [Orderify](https://apps.shopify.com/orderify)'s $8.99 for the same core capability.

## 2. Orderify — priced by your Shopify plan, not your orders

**Best for:** almost every store that only wants order editing and cancellation. The pricing model is the product: a store on the Shopify plan doing 2,400 orders a month pays $8.99 where volume-banded competitors charge $99. The 30-day trial is also the longest in the category by a factor of four, which is enough time to measure the ticket reduction properly.

**Not ideal for:** Shopify Plus stores, where the price jumps to $99.99 and the gap to a full-featured competitor closes to nothing. Also not the choice if you want upsell or address validation — [Orderify](https://apps.shopify.com/orderify) does not do either.

![Orderify order edit and cancel listing on the Shopify App Store](https://cdn-web.joy.so/cdn/image/2026/10/listing-orderify-2026-10-07-1e304e.png)

_Orderify, same day: 4.8 from 72 reviews, priced by Shopify plan — $8.99 on Shopify, unlimited edits, no order cap._

1,363 installs, 4.8 stars from 72 reviews, live since May 2016 — the oldest app in this group.

**What it actually does**

- Orderify lets customers edit, cancel and reorder from the order status and account pages.
- Unlimited edits on every plan. There is no order cap anywhere in the pricing table.
- A 30-day free trial on all tiers.

**What to check before you commit**

Pricing follows your Shopify plan: $4.99 on Basic, $8.99 on Shopify, $24.99 on Advanced, $99.99 on Plus. Over a year that is a $1,080 difference against [OrderEditing.com](https://apps.shopify.com/order-editing)'s entry band for a store on the Shopify plan.

The caveat is the public record. 72 reviews is thin for an app live since 2016, so read the recent ones rather than the rating — with a category this small, a quiet year is harder to interpret than a loud one.

## 3. Revize — the only free plan with real editing

**Best for:** stores that want to measure whether self-service editing actually reduces support tickets before paying for it. Twenty edits a month is enough to get a real number on a store doing a few hundred orders, and the free tier includes the features that matter — auto-cancel, instant refunds, variant and address changes, time-based deadlines.

**Not ideal for:** stores that will exceed 20 edits a month and only want editing. The jump from free to $49 is steep when [Orderify](https://apps.shopify.com/orderify) charges $8.99 for unlimited edits on most Shopify plans, so Starter has to win on integrations and deadline logic instead.

![Revize order editing and upsell listing on the Shopify App Store](https://cdn-web.joy.so/cdn/image/2026/10/listing-revize-2026-10-07-1365ab.png)

_Revize, 7 October 2026: 5.0 from 126 reviews, and the only free plan here with 20 full order edits a month._

471 installs, 5.0 stars from 126 reviews, live since November 2024 — the newest app here.

**What it actually does**

- [Revize](https://apps.shopify.com/revize)'s free plan includes 20 order edits a month with quantity and variant changes, shipping address, email and phone updates, auto-cancel with instant refunds, time-based and recurring edit deadlines, the EU withdrawal button and localisation.
- Starter at $49 adds unlimited editing, 20+ languages with Shopify Markets, 100+ shipping and order integrations and a premium analytics dashboard.
- Pro at $149 adds a rules engine for complex editing logic and AI Upsell 2.0.

**What to check before you commit**

The recurring edit deadlines are the feature worth understanding. A fixed window — "edits allowed for two hours" — breaks against a warehouse that picks in batches at set times. A recurring deadline tied to your actual pick schedule is the version that works, and it is on the free plan.

With 126 reviews and under a year of history, Revize has the shortest track record in this comparison.

## 4. Codify Order Cancel — free, cancellation only

**Best for:** stores whose post-purchase support load is dominated by "please cancel this" rather than "please change this", and who want it solved at zero cost with automatic inventory replenishment.

**Not ideal for:** anyone whose customers need to change an address or a variant. [Codify Order Cancel](https://apps.shopify.com/codify-order-cancel) cancels and reorders; it does not edit. It also carries the lowest rating in this group.

![Codify Order Cancel listing on the Shopify App Store](https://cdn-web.joy.so/cdn/image/2026/10/listing-codify-order-cancel-2026-10-07-6f94c8.png)

_Codify Order Cancel, 7 October 2026: 4.2 from 48 reviews — the lowest rating here — and free on any volume._

1,660 installs, 4.2 stars from 48 reviews, live since December 2023.

**What it actually does**

- Codify Order Cancel lets customers cancel unfulfilled orders themselves and reorder with minimal effort.
- A configurable time limit on cancellation, after which the window closes.
- Automatic inventory replenishment after a cancellation, so stock does not sit reserved against an order nobody will pay for.
- Integration with checkout and customer account pages. There is no paid plan.

**What to check before you commit**

4\.2 is the lowest rating here and the distribution behind it is 85% five-star with 6% one-star — a bimodal pattern that usually means an app works well until it hits an edge case. With only 48 reviews, read all of them; it takes five minutes and it is the whole available evidence.

The strategic caveat: cancel-and-reorder is a blunt instrument. A customer who wanted to change a size and instead cancels is a customer you have [given a chance to leave](https://joy.so/blog/low-customer-loyalty/).

## 5. Relocate+ — unlimited edits of one type, free

**Best for:** stores whose single real problem is wrong shipping addresses. The free plan caps scope rather than volume, so you can run unlimited address corrections at $0 — and most stores find out within a week whether that alone solves the ticket load.

**Not ideal for:** stores needing more than one kind of edit without paying, and anyone who wants a large public track record. 41 reviews is thin.

![Relocate+ order editing listing on the Shopify App Store](https://cdn-web.joy.so/cdn/image/2026/10/listing-relocate-address-editor-2026-10-07-56bf41.png)

_Relocate+, 7 October 2026: 5.0 from 41 reviews, with a free plan that caps scope to one edit type rather than volume._

488 installs, 5.0 stars from 41 reviews.

**What it actually does**

- [Relocate+](https://apps.shopify.com/relocate-address-editor) enables exactly one type of order editing on the free plan, with unlimited edits of that type: shipping address and rates, adding or removing products, cancellations, or order notes and gift messages.
- Basic at $19 unlocks all edit types with automatic tagging of edited orders.
- Advanced at $39 adds time-based editing windows, limits by product and order filter, the ability to disable item removal, change logs, a US-based account manager and white-glove onboarding.

**What to check before you commit**

The scope-capped free plan is the most honest segmentation in this category: it does not throttle you, it narrows you, and the narrowing is the diagnostic. If address editing alone fixes the problem you are done at $0; if it does not, $19 is still well under the category's entry price.

The ability to disable item removal, on Advanced, is the one feature finance teams ask for and most apps here do not offer — it lets customers upgrade an order but not shrink it.

## 6. Yagi Order Cancellable — one job, $7 flat

**Best for:** Plus stores mid-migration to checkout extensibility that need customer-initiated cancellation with a time limit and explicit support for the new checkout. The merchant email notification on cancellation is the other reason to pick it over the free option.

**Not ideal for:** anyone who wants editing at all. [Yagi Order Cancellable](https://apps.shopify.com/cancellable) does not edit orders, and a free competitor does the same cancellation job.

![Yagi Order Cancellable listing on the Shopify App Store](https://cdn-web.joy.so/cdn/image/2026/10/listing-cancellable-2026-10-07-9e2e4e.png)

_Yagi Order Cancellable, 7 October 2026: 5.0 from 41 reviews at $7 a month flat, cancellation only._

339 installs, 5.0 stars from 41 reviews.

**What it actually does**

- Yagi Order Cancellable provides customer-initiated cancel and reorder, with an email notification to the merchant on cancellation.
- A configurable time limit on the cancellation window.
- Checkout Extensibility support, which matters if you are on Plus and moving off checkout.liquid.

**What to check before you commit**

$7 a month flat, with a 7-day trial and no tiers. [Codify Order Cancel](https://apps.shopify.com/codify-order-cancel) does a similar job for free, so the $7 buys the merchant notification, the checkout extensibility support and a 5.0 rating instead of 4.2. For a Plus store mid-migration that is reasonable; for everyone else, try the free one first.

## 7. AE: Order Editing & Upsell — check the listing before you install

**Best for:** nothing we can recommend from the public data, which is the honest answer rather than a placeholder.

**Not ideal for:** anyone who wants install and review numbers that agree with each other.

![AE Order Editing and Upsell listing on the Shopify App Store](https://cdn-web.joy.so/cdn/image/2026/10/listing-account-editor-2026-10-07-84574e.png)

_AE: Order Editing, 7 October 2026: 260 reviews against 41 live installs — about six reviews per store._

41 installs, 5.0 stars from 260 reviews.

**What it actually does**

- [AE: Order Editing](https://apps.shopify.com/account-editor) offers unlimited order edits, shipping address editing, discount recalculation, one-click upsell, and address validation with suggestions, on every tier.
- Starter at $39 covers 0–1,200 monthly orders with 50 free address validations. Growth at $99 covers 1,201–5,000 with 200 free validations. Pro is $179.
- Validation beyond the free allowance is charged at $0.01 to $0.03 per order.

**What to check before you commit**

260 reviews against 41 live installs is roughly six reviews per store. Every other app in this list sits between one review per four stores and one per nineteen. There are ordinary explanations — an app that shed most of its install base keeps its historical reviews — and that explanation is itself the reason to look closely. Check the review dates on the listing before committing to a $39 to $179 monthly plan.

## How to choose

Start with your Shopify plan. If you are on Basic, Shopify or Advanced and you only need editing, **Orderify** at $4.99 to $24.99 is the answer and the rest of this list is a comparison you do not need to make.

If you want to measure the support-ticket reduction before spending anything, install **Revize** free and watch 20 edits a month. If your problem is purely cancellations, install **Codify Order Cancel** free. If it is purely addresses, install **Relocate+** free.

Pay **OrderEditing.com**'s $99 when order editing is one line item in a larger post-purchase programme that also includes checkout upsell and address validation — at that point you are consolidating three bills, not buying one feature.

Order editing is a post-purchase problem, and so is the next one most stores hit: getting that customer to come back. [Shopify customer retention](https://joy.so/blog/shopify-customer-retention/) covers the mechanics, and [retention benchmarks](https://joy.so/blog/customer-retention-benchmarks/) covers the numbers worth measuring against.

## Frequently asked questions

**Can customers edit their own Shopify orders without an app?** No. Shopify lets the merchant edit an order from the admin, but there is no native customer-facing edit window. Every app in this list exists to add one.

**What is the cheapest Shopify order editing app?** Orderify, at $4.99 a month for stores on Shopify Basic, $8.99 on Shopify and $24.99 on Advanced, with unlimited edits and no order cap. Revize, Relocate+ and [Codify Order Cancel](https://apps.shopify.com/codify-order-cancel) all have free plans with narrower scope.

**Is there a free Shopify order editing app?** Three. Revize gives 20 full order edits a month, [Relocate+](https://apps.shopify.com/relocate-address-editor) gives unlimited edits of one chosen type, and Codify Order Cancel handles cancellation and reorder at no cost on any volume.

**How much does OrderEditing.com cost?** $99 a month for 100 to 2,500 monthly orders, $199 for 2,500 to 5,000 and $399 for 5,000 to 10,000. Address validation is optional and billed per order at $0.01 in the US, $0.03 in the UK and New Zealand and $0.015 in Australia.

**How long should the editing window stay open?** Long enough to catch the mistake, short enough to close before the warehouse picks. Apps that offer recurring deadlines tied to your pick schedule handle this better than apps offering a fixed number of hours after checkout.
