Korean Skincare had built a stable customer base over time, but it faced the challenge of expanding its reach to new customers without spending too much on marketing. Also, customer engagement and repeat purchases had slowed down, which presented a risk to long-term growth. To help grow its customer base without spending too much on marketing, Korean Skincare implemented a referral program with Joy. This program incentivizes existing customers to share the brand with their friends and family by offering points for successful referrals. These points can be redeemed for their purchases, creating a win-win scenario that motivates loyal customers to promote the brand.

The referred friends, or referees, will also receive a discount voucher upon enrolling as members, making their first interaction with Korean Skincare memorable and appealing.
This dual-benefit approach fosters trust and encourages participation, allowing the brand to tap into the networks of existing customers to grow its audience organically and cost-effectively. As a result of implementing the referral program, Korean Skincare saw over 21K+ new members join the program.
2. Unlock More Ways to Earn Points
To boost customer engagement and encourage repeat purchases, Korean Skincare released more ways for customers to earn points. Customers can earn points by writing reviews, joining the club, following the brand’s social media accounts, and reaching specific milestones such as a set number of purchases,… These simple and interactive actions not only reward loyal customers but also help build a stronger online presence for Korean Skincare.

In addition, the brand will launch an exclusive privileges program to enhance the shopping experience. Members of this program can enjoy benefits like free shipping and access to special rewards called Superstar Gift.

The referral program and new ways to earn points, like writing reviews or sharing on social media, helped Korean Skincare attract new customers and keep existing ones engaged. Together, Korean Skincare saw over 21K+ new members, 71,5% MoM sales growth and 89% referral conversion rate.
