When the cap is reached, the reward shows as Sold out in the loyalty widget. No manual disabling. No broken coupon codes. No disappointed customers.
You also get a live Current total of redemptions counter in the admin — so you're never guessing where you stand. When you restock, hit Reset and the program opens again immediately.
How to set it up
Step 1 — Go to Reward programs → Redeeming programs and open any program.
Step 2 — Scroll to the Redemption limit card. Select Redemption limit (not No limitation).
Step 3 — Enter your Program total limitation. For example: 50.
Step 4 — Optionally check Each customer's limit to layer a per-customer cap on top of the total.
Step 5 — Save. Joy starts counting from that moment.
Only completed redemptions count. Pending or failed redeems don't consume a slot. Total redemption limits are available on all Joy plans.
