Why this matters
Companies is a new page in Joy that lists every Shopify B2B company, shows how far each one is from its next Partner tier, and lets you move a company to a different tier yourself.
See every account in one list
Each Shopify B2B company shows its Partner tier, tier spent, locations, customers, total orders and total spent. Search by name, or sort by last updated or total spent to bring your largest accounts to the top.
Know who is close to the next tier
Open a profile to see how much more a company needs to spend to reach its next Partner tier, along with its customers, its locations, and a history of its orders and tier changes.
Set a tier yourself when the relationship calls for it
Move a company to a different Partner tier and its catalog access and payment terms follow. The change is logged as made by an admin, so your team can see who changed what.
Which of my B2B accounts are closest to the next Partner tier? Open Companies, sort by total spent, then open a profile to see the spend still needed, and decide which accounts are worth a call.
How to access and use
Step 1: Open Companies
In Joy, click Companies in the navigation. It appears on Advanced and Ultimate plans when your store uses Shopify B2B, which Shopify does not offer on Shopify Starter.
Step 2: Find a company
Search by name, or sort by Updated or Total Spent. Click a row to open its profile.
Step 3: Read the profile
The Overview shows the company's Partner tier, its tier spent and how much more it needs to spend to reach the next tier. Below it you will find its customers, its locations and its Activities, filtered by All, Orders or Partner tier.
Step 4: Change the tier by hand
Click Edit, pick a different Partner tier and confirm in the Tier confirmation window.
Frequently asked questions
Does a company's tier change on its own?
Yes. Joy moves a company up as its spend grows, and a refund that drops its spend below the current tier's threshold moves it down automatically.
Who receives the benefits when a company changes tier?
Every member and location of the company. The new tier's benefits apply immediately, and the previous tier's benefits are removed automatically.
Where does Joy get each company's data?
From Shopify, for spend, orders, customers and locations, so they match your Shopify admin. Partner tier and tier spent come from Joy.
