Loloyal Alternatives: Loloyal Is Now CWILL Loyalty
Same install base and review history under a new name. Its $69 Growth plan jumps to $599 for API access, and five alternatives priced.

Summarize this post with AI
Loloyal no longer exists under that name. The app sits on the same Shopify App Store URL with the same review history, and on 8 October 2026 the listing read CWILL Loyalty & Referrals, with the description stating "CWILL Loyalty (formerly Loloyal)". Four sibling apps from the same vendor carry the same new prefix, including CWILL Order Tracking, which still lives at the old ParcelPanel listing address. This is a portfolio rename, not a one-off.
The pricing reason to look elsewhere is sharper than the naming one. CWILL's ladder runs free at 50 monthly orders, Starter at $19, Growth at $69, then Plus at $599, and the two things that jump 8.7 times in price are API access and checkout extensions. Across the five alternatives below, checkout redemption costs nothing on BON, $100 on Appstle Loyalty, $199 on Smile and $499 on both Rivo and Growave. CWILL is the most expensive published route to it in the category.
So the switch decision turns on one question: which gated capability is forcing your upgrade. Below is CWILL's own ladder read in full, then five alternatives priced at the same capability and the same order volume.
Key takeaways
- The listing formerly called Loloyal read "CWILL Loyalty & Referrals" on 8 October 2026, on the unchanged Loloyal URL, carrying the same reviews and the same install base.
- CWILL Loyalty's free plan caps at 50 monthly orders, the tightest free tier among the major Shopify loyalty apps, and its feature list does not mention email. "Pop-up & Emails" first appears on the Starter card at $19.
- The Starter card is headlined $19 a month and its own small print reads "$19/pm for stores with up to 200 orders/pm, or $29/pm for up to 500 orders/pm", so a 400-order brand budgeting from the headline is 53% under.
- API access and checkout extensions both sit on Plus at $599, an 8.7 times step from Growth's $69 floor with nothing published between them.
- At 2,000 monthly orders the published prices on 8 October 2026 ran $30 on Appstle Loyalty, from $69 on CWILL, $129 on BON, $199 on Smile, $274 on Growave and $369 on Rivo.
- Rivo's Scale plan is the only ladder in this group with a published bill ceiling: $49 plus $20 per additional 100 orders, "capped at $499/mo regardless of volume".
Loloyal is now CWILL, across five apps
The rename is the first thing to establish, because it breaks every bookmark, every internal doc and every blog mention that says Loloyal.
The app is at the same address. The CWILL Loyalty listing read 4.9 stars from 810 reviews on 8 October 2026, launched 12 October 2021, carrying the Built for Shopify badge. It runs on 3,115 live Shopify stores. Nothing about the install base or the review history reset, which is the normal pattern for a rename rather than a relaunch.
What makes this a portfolio decision rather than a product one is the sibling list. Five apps now trade under the CWILL name:
- CWILL Order Tracking, on the former ParcelPanel listing, with 67,001 live installs, the largest of the set.
- CWILL(Trustoo) Product Reviews, with 28,045 live installs.
- CWILL Loyalty & Referrals, with 3,115.
- CWILL Returns & Exchanges, with 1,968.
- CWILL AI Chatbot and Live Chat, with 1,695.
The loyalty app's own integration list still names "TrustWILL Reviews integration" and "Willdesk: Live Chat & Helpdesk", which is the vendor's prior naming showing through the seams. None of that is a product defect. It does mean a merchant searching for support documentation, a changelog or a third-party review of "Loloyal" will find material written about an app with a different name, and that most comparison pages in this category still describe the pre-rename product.
CWILL Loyalty's ladder, and the two places it breaks
| Plan | Price | Monthly orders | What unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 | points, referrals, limited-time offers, custom CSS |
| Starter | $19/month | 200, or 500 at $29 | pop-ups and emails, theme customisation, multi-language, POS |
| Growth | $69/month | "Tiered pricing: 500–3,000 orders/pm, from $69/pm" | VIP programme, loyalty page, points expiration, Klaviyo and Omnisend |
| Plus | $599/month | not stated | API access, checkout extensions, custom reward actions, custom data export |
Best for: brands under 500 monthly orders that want a complete points, referral and VIP programme at the bottom of the market, and developers who want to restyle the widget without paying, since custom CSS is on the free plan. Between 500 and 3,000 orders, Growth at $69 is the lowest published entry to a tiered programme among the apps compared here, roughly a third of what Smile charges for tiers.
Not ideal for: brands that need checkout extensions or API access. Both sit on Plus at $599, and the Plus note reads "Plus plans start at $599/month. Final pricing varies based on each merchant's requirements and usage", which makes $599 a floor rather than a price. The free plan is also effectively a trial at 50 monthly orders, roughly a brand's first fortnight, and its feature list does not mention email or pop-ups. CWILL's "Pop-up & Emails" line first appears on the Starter card at $19, so establish what the free tier sends before relying on it to tell a shopper they have points.
The Starter trap. The card says $19 and the small print says $29 at 500 orders. Annual billing is $190 or $690 for Starter and Growth, saving 17%, and those are the only two tiers where annual pricing is published cleanly.
The Growth trap. "Tiered pricing: 500–3,000 orders/pm, from $69/pm" means a 600-order brand and a 2,900-order brand are both inside Growth at unstated prices. The word "from" is carrying the whole range, so a forecast built on $69 is a forecast built on the bottom of a band.
The Plus cliff. Nothing is published between $69 and $599. For a brand at 3,100 orders, or a brand that needs the API at any volume, the step is 8.7 times with no intermediate option on the listing. That is the single strongest reason to price alternatives, and it is what the five sections below do.
What the same capability costs elsewhere
Every figure read from the live Shopify App Store listings on 8 October 2026, except Smile's Plus tier, read from smile.io/pricing the same day. Checkout redemption runs on Shopify's checkout UI extensions, a Shopify Plus capability, which is why vendors tier it.
| App | Free cap | Checkout redemption | Published API or SDK | Cost at 2,000 orders |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Appstle Loyalty | 250 | $100 | not priced | $30 |
| CWILL Loyalty | 50 | $599 | $599 | from $69 |
| BON | 150 | free plan | not priced | $129 |
| Smile | 200 | $199 | not priced | $199 |
| Growave | 200 | $499 | $499 | $274 |
| Rivo | 200 | $499 | $499 | $369 |
Two patterns matter here. CWILL is the most expensive published path to checkout redemption in the group and the most expensive published path to an API. And three vendors publish no API price at all, which means "unpriced" is the category norm rather than CWILL's failing: the difference is that CWILL puts a number on it and the number is the highest.
The sections below run in order of install base, which measures adoption rather than fit.
1. Smile — the default, priced for 2,500 orders and no further
Best for: brands under about 2,500 monthly orders that want the full feature set at one flat price. Growth at $199 bundles VIP tiers, points expiry, checkout redemption, 25-plus reports and unlimited integrations, which is the capability CWILL splits across Growth and Plus. Smile's free plan also carries Shopify POS, full branding and 20-plus languages, the widest free configuration surface in this comparison.
Not ideal for: brands pushing past 3,000 orders a month on a monthly budget. Smile charges $20 per additional 100 orders above Growth's 2,500, which is 20 cents an order, so a 5,000-order brand pays $699 and a 7,500-order brand pays $1,199. The plan that fixes that is Plus at $999 a month billed annually, and it does not appear on the App Store panel at all.

Smile runs on 57,813 live Shopify stores. The Smile listing read 4.9 stars from 4,622 reviews on 8 October 2026, 69 of them one-star.
What it actually does
- Points, referrals, 15-plus earn-and-redeem methods, full branding, 20-plus languages and Shopify POS on the free plan at 200 orders.
- Loyalty Hub, checkout redemption for Shopify Plus, VIP tiers, points expiry and unlimited integrations from Growth $199.
What to check before you commit
The Standard-to-Growth step is sharper than CWILL's Starter trap. Standard covers 1,000 monthly orders for $79 with no overage published, so order 1,001 moves you to $199. Price Growth as soon as your trailing three-month count passes about 850.
Smile also concentrates four commonly required capabilities on the same tier, so a 300-order brand that wants VIP tiers pays the full $199. If tiers are the reason you are leaving CWILL, Smile's price is $199 regardless of your size, against CWILL's $69.
2. Appstle Loyalty — the cheapest ladder, and the cheapest checkout redemption
Best for: brands that want CWILL's feature set for less money at every volume. Business covers 2,000 monthly orders for $30 against CWILL's "from $69", the VIP programme starts at $30 against CWILL's $69, and checkout points redemption is $100 against CWILL's $599. The free plan also carries performance analytics and data exports, which CWILL's does not.
Not ideal for: brands leaving CWILL specifically for API access. Appstle's panel ends at Business Premium $100 with the bullet "PING US FOR HYDROGEN, APIs & WEBHOOK", so the capability that cost $599 on CWILL has no price here at all. If procurement needs a number before a trial, that is a swap of one problem for another.

Appstle Loyalty runs on 27,390 live Shopify stores. The Appstle Loyalty listing read 5.0 stars from 1,418 reviews on 8 October 2026.
What it actually does
- Loyalty pages, store credits, referrals, milestone emails, performance analytics and data exports on the free plan at 250 orders.
- VIP programme, points expiration and free-product redemption from Business $30; checkout points redemption from Business Premium $100 with a 1.5 cent overage above 5,000 orders.
What to check before you commit
Appstle's caps are sentences rather than meters. Starter and Business read "Plan applicable until your store reaches 500 orders in a month. No extra charges", so crossing a cap moves a whole tier rather than adding a per-order fee. Only Business Premium has an overage, at 1.5 cents, the lowest published rate in this group by a factor of three.
Annual billing takes 20% off every paid tier, which is $96, $288 and $960 a year. That is the largest published annual discount among these six apps.
3. Growave — three apps on the free plan, and a published overage at every tier
Best for: brands that would otherwise buy loyalty, wishlist and product reviews separately. Growave's free plan bundles all three at 200 monthly orders, and consolidating three subscriptions into one is usually worth more than any single feature difference. Every paid tier also publishes an overage rate, so the bill is forecastable in a way CWILL's bands are not.
Not ideal for: brands that want one of the three apps and not the others. You pay for a bundle, and at 2,000 orders Growave costs $274 against Appstle's $30 for the loyalty function alone. Checkout extensions and the headless API also sit on Plus at $499, so the CWILL cliff is reduced rather than removed.

Growave runs on 12,230 live Shopify stores. The Growave listing read 4.8 stars from 1,294 reviews on 8 October 2026.
What it actually does
- Loyalty points, wishlist, product reviews and data import or export on the free plan at 200 monthly orders.
- VIP tiers, store credit, points expiration, gift cards, POS loyalty QR, Google Shopping reviews and Instagram UGC from Growth $199; checkout extensions, headless API and SDK, custom reward actions and B2B from Plus $499.
What to check before you commit
Growave's overage falls as you climb: $20 per 100 orders on Entry, $15 on Growth, $10 on Plus. That makes the crossovers worth running. Entry at $15 covers 500 orders then meters, so at 2,000 orders Entry costs $315 and Growth costs $274, which means the $199 plan is cheaper than the $15 plan well before you reach its own allowance.
Growave's loyalty depth is also narrower than a loyalty-only app at the same price. Judge the bundle, not the loyalty module in isolation.
4. Rivo — the only published cap on the total bill
Best for: brands that cannot tolerate an unbounded software bill. Rivo's Scale plan reads "Includes 400 orders for $49/mo, then $20 per 100 more, capped at $499/mo regardless of volume", which is the only ceiling on total spend published by any app in this comparison. A brand at 3,000 orders and a brand at 30,000 orders both pay at most $499, which is the exact problem CWILL's Plus tier leaves open.
Not ideal for: brands in the 500 to 1,500 order range optimising on price. Scale includes only 400 orders, so at 2,000 orders it costs $369 against Appstle's $30 and CWILL's $69 floor. The cap is valuable at the top of the range and expensive in the middle of it.

Rivo runs on 11,274 live Shopify stores. The Rivo listing read 4.7 stars from 1,444 reviews on 8 October 2026, the lowest rating of the five alternatives here.
What it actually does
- Loyalty points, earn-and-redeem methods, branding and automated email campaigns on the free plan at 200 monthly orders.
- VIP tiers, points expiry, analytics, bonus campaigns, referrals and advanced branding with custom CSS and fonts from Scale $49; custom integrations, advanced analytics, the Rivo Developer Toolkit and checkout extensions from Plus $499.
What to check before you commit
Work out where the cap bites. Scale's $20 per 100 overage reaches the $499 ceiling at 2,700 monthly orders, and above that the bill stops moving. Plus is also $499 and covers up to 2,500 orders, so the two tiers meet at the same number and the difference between them is capability rather than volume: the developer toolkit and checkout extensions.
Essential at $15 covers 500 orders with no overage published, which makes it, not Scale, the right comparison for a brand under 500 orders.
5. BON — checkout redemption free, and unlimited orders at $129
Best for: brands leaving CWILL because checkout extensions cost $599. BON publishes "Redeem at checkout (Shopify Plus)" on its free plan, which is the cheapest route to that capability anywhere in this comparison by a margin of $599. Growth at $129 then covers unlimited monthly orders, so the order meter stops entirely at a price well below CWILL's Plus floor.
Not ideal for: brands that need API access or headless support, and brands under 150 orders that want a usable free tier. The panel ends at Growth with the bullet "PING US FOR ENTERPRISE PLAN (API, SDK..)", so the developer capability is unpriced. The free plan also has no dedicated loyalty page, no analytics and no POS, which makes it a mechanic rather than a programme.

BON runs on 5,680 live Shopify stores. The BON listing read 5.0 stars from 1,952 reviews on 8 October 2026.
What it actually does
- Points, an anti-cheat referral programme, automated emails for points and referrals, and checkout redemption for Shopify Plus on the free plan at 150 monthly orders.
- VIP tiers plus B2B tiers, points for purchase streaks, daily check-in points and anniversary rewards from Growth $129, which carries unlimited monthly orders.
What to check before you commit
The unlimited-order tier is the headline and it is real, but unlimited volume and enterprise capability are sold separately here. Growth stops the order meter; it does not open the API.
Also price Basic at $29 rather than Starter at $15 if you have a physical counter: Shopify POS, limited-time offers, multi-language display and analytics all arrive together on Basic.
How to choose a replacement
Three questions settle this, in order.
Which gated capability is forcing the move? If it is checkout redemption, BON gives it free and Appstle charges $100, against CWILL's $599. If it is an API or SDK with a published price, Rivo and Growave both charge $499 and nobody in this group charges less. If it is VIP tiers, Appstle is $30 and CWILL is $69, so CWILL is already competitive and the move is not worth making.
What is your order count, and does the vendor publish a rate above it? At 2,000 monthly orders the published prices run $30 on Appstle, from $69 on CWILL, $129 on BON, $199 on Smile, $274 on Growave and $369 on Rivo. Above 3,000 orders CWILL publishes nothing below $599, BON publishes $129 unlimited and Rivo publishes a $499 ceiling.
How much does the rename cost you operationally? If your team documentation, support macros and agency briefs all say Loloyal, the rename is a small internal project whether you stay or leave. That is the one real argument for doing the comparison now rather than later.
Shopify's documentation notes that an app "can add up to eight public plans" while the listing panel renders at most four, which is why five of the six apps here show a truncated ladder and why the plan a large brand buys is often the one with no card. Read both the panel and the vendor's own pricing page before committing to any of them.
For the full feature comparison rather than the price comparison, the Shopify loyalty app round-up covers the same apps, and what a loyalty programme actually costs covers the spend beyond the subscription. If your shortlist has narrowed to one vendor, Smile.io alternatives, Rivo alternatives and Growave alternatives each price that vendor against the field.
Frequently asked questions
Is Loloyal now CWILL? Yes. On 8 October 2026 the listing at the unchanged Loloyal address read "CWILL Loyalty & Referrals", with the description stating "CWILL Loyalty (formerly Loloyal)". The install base and the 810 reviews carried over. Four sibling apps from the same vendor also now use the CWILL prefix, including CWILL Order Tracking at the former ParcelPanel listing.
How much does CWILL Loyalty cost? Free at 50 monthly orders, Starter at $19 for up to 200 orders or $29 for up to 500, Growth from $69 for 500 to 3,000 orders, and Plus from $599. Annual billing saves 17% on Starter and Growth. The Plus note says final pricing varies by merchant, so $599 is a floor.
What is the cheapest alternative to CWILL Loyalty? Appstle Loyalty at every volume compared here. Its free plan covers 250 monthly orders against CWILL's 50, Starter is $10 against $19, Business covers 2,000 orders for $30 against CWILL's "from $69", and checkout points redemption is $100 against $599.
Which loyalty app includes checkout redemption on a free plan? BON. Its free tier publishes "Redeem at checkout (Shopify Plus)" at 150 monthly orders. Every other app compared here charges for it: $100 on Appstle Loyalty, $199 on Smile, $499 on Rivo and Growave, and $599 on CWILL Loyalty.
Which loyalty app publishes a price for API access? Three of the six. Rivo's Developer Toolkit is on Plus at $499, Growave's headless API and SDK on Plus at $499, and CWILL's API access on Plus from $599. Smile, Appstle Loyalty and BON publish no API price on their listing panels.
Does switching loyalty apps lose my members and points balances? Member records and point balances live in the app rather than in Shopify, so a switch is a data migration, not a setting change. None of the six listings compared here publishes a migration price or a migration guarantee in its plan panel, so ask each vendor what import format it accepts and who runs the import before you commit. Appstle Loyalty and Growave both publish data export on their free plans, which at least makes the outbound half straightforward.
